Chapel of St. Joseph shaped like a four-leaf clover
Near the old Roman road, in the village of Vinska gora under the village of Valična vas (Vališka Gora), there is an interesting chapel of St. Joseph, which is distinguished by its floor plan shaped like a four-leaf clover. It was built in 1680, and the altar of St. Jospeh was constructed in 1711.

St. Joseph is the patron saint of family matters and financial difficulties. He is the special patron of Christian fathers caring for their families and children, and the patron and intercessor of those who have to earn their living through hard work.
We are all familiar with the belief that the four-leaf clover brings good luck. One of the legends says that the story originates from Eve herself. While Adam and Eve were leaving the Garden of Eden, Eve is said to have chosen a four-leaf clover as a reminder of paradise. Since then, it is believed to bring good luck. The Celts believed it had magical powers of protection, the ability to ward off evil and misfortune. It was also believed that wearing a clover allows the owner to see fairies.
