Triple house on Endor trees
As part of the international meeting of EASA architecture students, where almost 500 young people from 48 countries participated, a Tree House was built on Loka by the Krka river, which was designed and mostly built by young Spanish architects themselves.

It is a project of 3 tree houses connected by a common staircase. Each house has a floor area of approximately 20 m2 and rests on a single tree and pillars supported by footings. The entire structure is made of wood connected with steel elements.
The special feature of the building is its attachment to the trees, which is solved using the so-called Garnier screws, which are screwed into the tree trunk itself. This ensured that the trees remain as intact as possible. The façade is made of external shadings, which are painted on the upper side, providing an effect in the style of the Mexican architect Luis Barragán.
